The Bill (Reg. No. 1314) was submitted by the President of Ukraine and defined as urgent to be considered out of order by The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
The introduced amendments envisage that the authorized central executive body on social policy and labour is to publish monthly actual calculations of living wage at its official web-page till twentieth of the next month. The Bill also envisages the said information to be published in the official State editions. Information regarding actual rate of living wage per person and separately for those who belongs to basic social and demographic population groups, together with relevant calculations, is to be submitted every month to the President of Ukraine, The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, national trade union associations, national associations of employers´ organizations.
The Final Statements of the Bill envisage that the Government is to coordinate its normative legal acts with the adopted Law within a month.
The Committee upholds adoption of the Bill at the First Reading. The People´s Deputies believe that it will enhance monitoring and publication of calculation of the monthly actual rate of living wage. Moreover, it will enable further correction of the living wage rate with regard to Ukraine´s standard of living.
